And the dark, brooding detective who is assigned to protect her when threats are made against her life, is not likely to change her point of view.
Wolf is determined to keep a cool distance from the elegant beauty despite an undeniable attraction. Her defiant attitude with him fosters his belief that she is a spoiled princess, unconcerned about the danger her willful actions can cause to herself and others. His assignment is to keep her safe, and he will do his job his way, whether she likes it or not.

I found Guarding Kelsey to be a very refreshing story. Many authors have the "alpha" male initiate the relationship. But you won't find that in Guarding Kelsey. Kelsey is a smart woman with a quick wit and goes after what she wants and that is Wolf. Wolf is a stoic male that doesn't know how to express his feelings. . Wolf didn't just guard Kelsey from bad guys; he guarded her heart as well.Guarding Kelsey is a quick easy read. This story would be a great "beach" read.

This book caught my interest right from the first paragraph.
Romance, mystery, humor all wrapped into one. Fast paced, never stopped with suprising twists along the way.
Look forward to reading other books by this author.
Rich girl, hero who doesn't have much use for the wealthy but he's assigned her guard. Question is will he succumb to her charms or keep his eyes closed to love?
Very good story line. The characters suck you in from the first page. Also very sexy story for those of you that like a great romance. I would definitely recommend this book.
Ms. at tala has made me a fan with this delightful story about Kelsey and Wolf. Kelsey is a wonderful, strong, intelligent, and kind woman. Who falls in love with a stubborn police detective who is guarding her from a killer. You will enjoy this if you like all of the above!
This is a really nice book to read. Although not an origional plot, I have read this plot several times. The author writes well and is really easy to read. I loved the fact that you can get straight into the story with out waiting a couple of chapters trying to get hooked. This author gets you from the beginning. A nice enjoyable story, well worth reading.
This book tested poor Kelsey resolve, she thought she knew what she wanted in life until a killer comes after her and she gets stuck with the overly obtrusive Detective Keiger. Sadly her heart gets broken by the very people she would do anything for and she has a hard time believing what the stubborn detective says. Cute story with just the right amount of turns to keep you intrigued.
I would have given this book another star, had I not enjoyed another book by the same author (China Blue) and promptly read this one. The books were interchangeable. Rugged, macho hero falls for heroine, but won't admit it. Heroine bedgrudingly falls for hero and proceeds to throw herselt at him. Having said that, the storyline is good and the characters are engaging. Do yourself a favour and read ONE of these books
